Investigations on Teaching with Microcomputers as an Aid
ITMA was founded in 1978 by Rosemary Fraser, building on some earlier work with microcomputers in schools. It grew to encompass people from a diverse range of backgrounds including teaching, teacher training, curriculum development, educational research, psychology, computer science, mathematics, physics, humanities, languages, music, engineering and publishing.
It benefited from funding from the Microelectronics Education Programme and published innovative software through Longman Group.
