Kostas Kokkinopoulos's Profile
Kostos Kokkinopoulos's Profile Description
Ultralab is a unique
place, maybe in the whole world, to work and research. I started
working at Ultralab in late April 2000, still a student at APU, helping
in several projects. Ultralab?s working environment and ideology caught
my interest from day 1. There I learnt a new OS and computer platform
unknown to me beforehand: The Macintosh. It was just the ideal
combination to keep me interested and motivated.
Currently I live with my family in Greece after a few years living in Colchester, Essex (Britain?s oldest recorded town!!!). I rented four properties since my arrival at England for studies. My home in Greece I live in is in a beautiful and peaceful place called Vouliagmeni. Vouliagmeni is located at about 10 miles NS of the centre of Athens. There I live with my parents and a bunch of cats (Bouboukos, Boubouka, Philosopher, Ginger, Immigrant, Granny, You) in a block of flats with a spectacular view of the sea. In
every day life I used to be a quite quiet person. I love playing the
guitar and in general music. Astrophysics, Astronomy and space
exploration inspire me a lot. In my free time I usually browse the net
discovering and experimenting with sites new techs etc. I worked on many projects at Ultralab, in particular software development for use in language related projects. I left Ultralab in 2004 to return to Greece to undertake my national service. |
