Mobile Games Based Learning Project (2006)

by Martin Doherty last modified Friday Oct 6, 2006 10:29

And so something a little new.....

At the moment I'm lucky enough to be part of Ultralab’s action research team in the pan-European Project mG-BL (mobile Games-Based Learning), which is funded by the EU under 6th Framework, Priority 2, IST.

Read about this exciting project here or  have a look at the developing commmunity discussion area housed here.  The project sets out to create a platform and templates for m-learning games that can support the development of decision-making skills for crisis situations. Target audiences are students in the fields e-commerce, e-health and career guidance. The project is led by Evolaris research lab, based in Graz. Other partners are academic and commercial organisations in Austria, Croatia, Italy and Slovenia. Ultralab is the UK partner. Ultralab's role is the design and development of new learning models.

At this stage, March 2006, we're interested in talking to experts in this field and  we are recruiting  focus group members to try different activities. Drop me an email if you'd like to get involved in some of the discussions.  Email: martin@ultralab.net
