FEATURED ULTRANAUT - GINA REVILL
Ultralab is a rich international community, with Ultranauts from Bulgaria, Australia, Greece, Holland and New Zealand. The rest of the team is from all over England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
Gina moved to the UK from New Zealand five years ago. While teaching in London, she met the Ultralab team through her New Zealand friends who were visiting from the Ministry of Education. She was hooked by the magic of the Notschool project and came to the Lab for a visit. She was determined to work here no matter what!
She began researching summarising and archiving for the Talking Heads project, and has worked on several smaller research initiatives in schools and universities. Her time now is mainly split between the Ultraversity project – our biggest current enterprise which seeks to widen the access to higher education, through a wholly online degree based on reflective practice in the workplace – and Ultralab’s postgraduate programmes.
"The best thing about working here", she says, "is warmth and camaraderie of the team and working in a creative and supportive atmosphere".
