by Tom Stacey last modified Friday Oct 21, 2005 19:32

Every year the British Library chooses a maximum of 4 websites to archive and keep for posterity. This year they have written to the Every Object Tells A Story project and said that they would like to archive the website at the end of its life in December, as one of two 2005 selected projects.

Every Object Tells a Story is a collaboration with the Victoria & Albert Museum, Channel 4 and sponsored by Culture Online.

From the Culture Online website - "Culture Online was originally set up by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) in 2002. The team of specialists - from the worlds of broadcasting, technology, publishing and marketing - work with a variety of project partners to create highly targeted interactive resources. Culture Online projects aim to delight adults and children of all ages and backgrounds."
