RICHARD MILLWOOD CELEBRATES 50TH BIRTHDAY
Richard Millwood celebrates his 50th Birthday with friends and colleagues at Ultralab
Ultralab director, Richard Millwood celebrated his 50th Birthday yesterday in the company of friends and colleagues here at the 'lab. Some of the distributed team joined in with the celebrations using our streaming webcam and synchronous text chat capability. Richard was clearly moved by the impromptu party laid on to mark this half-way milestone!
We treated Richard to food, drink (including champagne), party poppers, cards, gifts and birthday cake!
Richard led us into song, by singing one of Bob Dylan's classics, "To Ramona" which coincidentally, also brought the party to a close! Hmmm.
The celebrations ended with a meal at the Gulshan, our local Indian restaurant.
