Create at BETT 2005The Ultralab team will be heading to Olympia for the BETT Show 2006. For the past five years Ultralab has worked in close collaboration with Apple Computer (UK) and various other project partners on the 'Create at BETT' stand.

Macworld reports the following:

Creative approaches to teaching: Of potential interest to Mac users will be "Create at BETT". This active stand will give attendees the chance to see how teachers and pupils use technology in a range of creative activities such as stop-frame animation, movie production, VJing and podcasting. It will feature young people making and showcasing their creative talents. Collaborators include BBC Blast, Apple, Ultralab, DV in Education and Media Education Wales. (Read the full article here).

Ultralab will be bringing young people from partner schools to work at the show. The young people will be demonstrating how technology can be used for creative purpose within teaching and learning.

Previous examples of BETT material produced at the show can be found here: www.createatbett.org.uk.

Various members of the Ultralab team will be working on the Create at BETT stand, in conjunction this year with our friends at BBC Blast!.
